Bred by an Evil Wizard who wanted troops who never fled the field, Hobblegoblins resemble Hobgoblins with extremely short, stumpy legs that render flight impossible.
Hobblegoblins prefer living underground in lairs with low ceilings and short corridors. They are good miners and prefer ramps to stairs, which they cannot climb. Hobblegoblins hate ladders and all creatures with longer legs.
They fight in close formation and are partial to Halberds.
When Hobblegoblins are first sighted, it is traditional for adventurers to shout, “Hobblegoblins! Walk for it!”
